Here, thanks to Liam for his efficiency and his professional skills. We quickly achieved a scaled-down model that matched our expectations. According to our design, this model can be quickly disassembled and assembled with fasteners and has enough strength to facilitate our testing work.
We also had further discussions with Liam about the design of our standard size frame (2.3m x 2.3m x 2.3m). We asked for advice on curtain fixation, frame fixation, and confirmed construction time and associated costs for large frames. First, we identified three key points required for our standard frame:
- Easy to install
- Robust
- Effective unfolding curtain
Among them, the effective exhibition curtain will be the focus of our frame design next. At the same time, Liam informed us that large framework should be submitted to him as early as possible to facilitate production and improvement. He will also email us the relevant cost sheet.
We will further conceive the scheme we will use in the discussion the next day and complete the design sketches and testing as soon as possible. Given that Liam told us that we would need to purchase our own special fasteners, this will be a priority to ensure we can get most of our testing done by Easter.
Replenish:
We successfully received a second Arduino part, new curtain material, which will help us start testing sooner.
